The Review
This is a horror story gone wrong.
It has all the intention and cast of a potential great movie, but it fails as it tries too hard.
Firstly how am I to believe that Anthony Hopkins could ever be dad to Benicio del Toro?
They don’t look anything similar. What a miscast.
The character development failed terribly, and I didn’t root for the protagonist.
The special effects was below par and I thought I was watching a student’s film project.
Storywise it doesn’t make sense, and it just doesn’t appeal to me.
An indicator it was a badly done movie, in fact I laughing more than I was scared.
The Good
- A cool gothic appeal to it
- Has the gore and violence
The Bad
- Wasn’t scary
- Editing was sloppy
