The Trailer

The Review

The premise of this movie is the post-apocalyptic future, and the survivors of this end-of-the-world period has only one thing on their mind, which is to survive!

And to that effect, the writers and director has brilliantly managed to convey that message in the most terrifying effect ever for me.

Watching this, the film looked so bleak and depressing, but it draws you as you’re hoping that the father-son character in the movie would pull through.

It’s either kill or be killed situation, with cannibals hot on their heels.

Based on a novel by Cormac McCarthy of the same name, this is a must watch if you’re into such apocalyptic movie genre.

The Good

  • Tight editing
  • Kodi Smit-McPhee who played the kid stole the show, brilliant acting!

The Bad

  • Not for the kids
  • The music score could be better
  • It leaves you wanting more, hope there’s a sequel in the future eh
