The TrailerThe ReviewYakuza films are aplenty, but the really good ones are a rare find. Well add ‘The Outrage’ to the list as this tale of power, greed and violence has the right ingredients of an excellent watch. The pacing of the movie is blinding, so be prepared to keep up and keep track of the many plots and sub-plots within the storyline. Despite the various many events within the film, it won’t overwhelm you. I just the love the various unique characters within the story. Some you’ll truly loathe, while others you’ll be rooting for them. Only a director like Kitano Takeshi is able to assemble a fine cast, no matter how small the roles are, and convincingly portray that emotion with such clarity on-screen. At every step of the way, this film will not bore you, despite its predictability. In fact you’ll be wanting more by the end of it. One of the better gangster films of the year! The Good
The Bad
