![]() The Girl Who Played With Fire![]() The Girl Who Played With Fire Synopsis“The Girl Who Played With Fire” is based on the second book in the Millennium trilogy by Swedish writer, Stieg Larsson. Mikael Blomkvist (Michael Nyqvist), publisher of Millennium magazine, has made his living exposing the crooked and corrupt practices of established Swedish figures. The TrailerThe ReviewUsually for trilogies, the sequel is usually half as good as the original, and for ‘The Girl Who Played With Fire’, I might say it’s not that bad. Although not as captivating as the first movie of Stieg Larsson’s Millennium trilogy books, it does retain its spunkness. Do not be fooled by the oddball title, in fact the last movie in the trilogy will be called, “The girl who kicked the hornet’s nest”. Yes the films may sound weird, but it has a great plot, and complemented with thrilling suspense. The sequel is a stand-alone movie, and you don’t have to watch the first to enjoy it, or lose the plot. Although watching the original does help. The casting was spot-on, and you’ll get a peek at how a Swedish society work, thinks and live. The only gripe I had was the bits and part of lost in translation reading the sub-titles. The Good
