The Trailer

The Review

I’m very particular about movies that makes sense, the plot itself although fiction, at least should be realistically plausible.

For the film ‘The Crazies’, although not perfect, the storyline makes sense, of sorts.

Nothing original being done here for this remake, but still the effect of a toxin agent transforming the local population into walking zombies does sounds plausible eh.

Sure there were some unexplained loopholes still, and few scenes that doesn’t make sense, but it’s one of the better zombies genre movies out there.

It’s no “Living of the Dead” or “Dawn of the Dead”, but I like this film. I’m hoping for a sequel, or spin-off.

The Good

  • Very creepy feel of a movie, not for the faint of heart
  • Moving pacing is excellent, fast build-up to the good stuff

The Bad

  • I wish there were more scary scenes
  • The gross and scare factor could be better
