The Trailer

The Review

The movies has a capable ensemble cast of whose-who in the movie industry, from John Cusack, Chow Yun-Fat to Gong Li.

With all that stars you might think this romance, espionage thriller would be an excellent production.

However despite the brilliant acting all-around, the movie was disappointed by the director’s weak handling of the plot and direction.

Yes the script has it’s twist and turn, but it’s not gripping enough to hold my full attention.

I was restless in my seat most of the time as the film played out.

Entertaining yes, but forgettable.

The Good

  • Excellent lighting and set production

The Bad

  • Unrealistic scene
  • Lack of screen-time for some of the stars
