Synopsis

Angelina Jolie plays Evelyn Salt, a CIA officer who swore an oath to duty, honour, and country. When she is accused by a defector of being a Russian sleeper spy, Salt goes on the run to clear her name and ultimately prove she is a patriot. Using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative, she must elude capture and protect her husband or the world’s most powerful forces will erase any trace of her existence.

To me Salt is like a watered-down female version of Jason Bourne.

In Salt, yes Jolie can act, she can kickass, sexy too but was let down by the plot.

It has the potential but didn’t stood out as for one the character development was weak, and as with plenty of movies out there, it was too predictable.

There were of course pulsating action scenes to my liking, but it was all just mindless forgettable thriller.
