![]() Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief![]() Percy Jackson & The Olympians - The Lightning Thief SynopsisTrouble-prone teen Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of school but that’s the least of his problems. The gods of Mount Olympus and other assorted monsters seem to have walked out of the pages of Percy’s Greek mythology texts and into his life and they’re not happy. Zeus’ lightning bolt has been stolen and Percy is the prime suspect. Now, Percy and his friends must embark on a cross-country adventure to catch the true thief, save Percy’s family, and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.
The TrailerThe ReviewI came out of the cinema today dissatisfied after watching this. Yes it has nice CGI, great looking cast, the conflict, the hero and a somewhat alright script. But there was too much ‘gloss’ about it. How can I explain this … well it’s just packaged too well, that it irks me. More action on-screen doesn’t mean it makes a good movie. In fact I was more interested in the background characters of Zues, Hades and Poseidon. Percy Jackson character was just darn boring, and I still think Pierce Brosnan can’t act for nuts. The scenes doesn’t just make sense. Why wasn’t Percy more remorseful when his mother was killed right before him. Oh please, I just hope there won’t be a sequel, I don’t want to put myself through another torture watching this crap of a series. The Good
