The TrailerThe ReviewLiz Taylor, a close friend of the late Michael Jackson was quoted as, “I saw genius in my lifetime.” Indeed she was right, and this movie/documentary showed a teaser of what could have been, a great concert to be held at London’s O2 Arena that was to take place this summer that never did. Spanning from March through June 2009, the film entails the last documentation of Michael Jackson in action. Some 100 hours of behind-the-scenes footage was edited, combined and produced. When I was in the theater, it was amazing as it was the only time I felt that there was complete focus on the movie itself. I couldn’t remember any giggling, sneezes, or whispering that distracted me. The rehearsal footages gave a somewhat idea of how the show would have taken direction. I especially like the brand new music video for Thriller and Smooth Criminal, the female guitarist was totally awesome, and for a 50 year old, MJ can still shuffle some amazing dance moves. The thing is after watching the movie, I felt a little sad as I’ve to reckon finally now it’s finally over, and that’s ALL that and no more. The brilliant singer, dancer and musician that we all love is indeed gone. You must watch this if you’re a fan, and if you’re not, it’s still worth your buck. The Good
