The Review
I don’t want to burst anyone’s bubble, but this movie is seriously mediocre for me.
Yes I must admit Clint Eastwood has been behind some of the movie greats out there, but Invictus lacks conviction.
The dialogues was plain and sparse, however performances by Matt Damon was good, and Morgan Freeman was convincing as the anti-apartheid activist and former South African president Nelson Mandela.
It’s a movie that could be more but never was, as if I was reading my history school textbook, not much insight one could gain other than the facts.
The Good
- Masterful acting
- A feel-good movie about reconciliation
The Bad
- Slow pacing
- Not much suspence, might bore some of you
