Synopsis

‘I hate luv storys’ is the maxim Jay Dhingra (Imran Khan) lives by. But as an assistant director to Veer Kapoor (Samir Soni), the most famous romantic filmmaker of Indian Film Industry, Jay has little option but to live with larger than life, glossy, cinematic love on an everyday basis. Things only get worse when he is made to work under new production designer, Simran (Sonam Kapoor). Simran loves luv storys; So much so that even her life has begun to resemble one. With her ideal job and the perfect boyfriend, Raj, she lives a blissful, dreamy life; One that is rudely interrupted by Jay’s cynicism. The turmoil’s of Jay and Simran’s life is ironically interwoven with the Luv Story that they are working on.

As with the title of this movie, I Hate Luv Storys. Watching it gave me goose pimples, with all those corny and lame scenes. Eyywww!

Sure the cast are an eye-candy but it didn’t help that the over-the-top acting was making me queasy in the stomach.

The plot was wafer-thin, focusing on the ridiculous, and it just doesn’t makes sense.

But if you love a happy ending with a Hannah-Montana like plot, then this is the movie for you.
