Synopsis

After a number of personal setbacks, including a struggling singer/song-writing career and a girlfriend who dumped him, Art (Robert Pattinson) moves back home with his cold and neglectful parents. Art decides to use inheritance money to pay for Canadian therapist Dr. Levi Ellington to come to his home in England and help Art “be more normal,” about which his parents are less than thrilled. Despite his unsupportive parents, Art attempts with his new life coach and two slightly unbalanced friends Nikki (Mike Pearce) and Ronnie (Johnny White) to find a balance in his life and experience true happiness and a good relationship with his parents.

I’ve to give props to Robert Pattinson for trying to break out of his popular Twilight role.

And the kid can somewhat actually act, a bit stiff, but still his range of emotions was convincing enough in this film.

The plot itself, I’m pretty sure many young people out there can relate to the story.

It’s about kids who seeks validation and trying to find their purpose in life, the confused and ‘troubled’ lot. Ain’t we all once that before eh …

The movie however does not gives you answers, but it does provide you an assurance that you’re not all alone out there.

• Typical hilarious British humor
• Dialogue well written, very quirky

• A depressing movie
