The Review

It’s hard to appease the crowd when it comes to comedies as it’s subjective. A person who finds a certain film funny, could be distastefully offending to the next.

As for ‘Get Him To The Greek’, I noticed it’s either you hate it, or you love it. There’s no middle ground. Well I fall in the latter.

You’ve got to love dead-pan black humor if you are to like Russell Brand, and fortunately for me I grew up watching British comedy.

The storyline is rather unique, and is a sort of a coming-of-age kinda movie but for a mature audience.

Generally this movie is not for everyone, and at times the jokes are rather crude, but keep an open mind. You might just like it.

The Good

  • Excellent casting chemistry

The Bad

  • Somewhat sexist movie
  • The character development could be better
