The Review
“The Fantastic Water Babes” was terribly disappointing for me.
The only reason one would watch this film is seeing Gillian Chung. Yes she’s the one in the spotlight previously in that infamous Edison Chen sex scandal.
For starters the story doesn’t make sense, it’s so corny and unrealistic. Getting back at your rival in love by taking part in a swimming competition, pffttt.
If you want to watch this, enter the theater with really low expectations.
The Good
- Gillian Chung looks great in swimwear
The Bad
- Sucky plot
- Patchy editing
- The acting was stiff
