The TrailerThe ReviewDon’t Look Back is Marina De Van’s psychological drama thriller, which is basically about a woman searching for her own identity. Jeanne (Sophie Marceau), an accomplished biographer and writer, decides to write a novel based on the first eight years of her life. The problem is that she could never remember these lost years, and as she pursues to find out those lost memories, to the discouragement of her publisher, friends and families, Jeanne sees changes in herself. Jeanne began to question her own memory, as odd things began to happen, surroundings become unfamiliar to her, and she began to sees the face of another woman (Monica Bellucci) replacing hers. Jeanne morphs into another fully, but actually the same Jeanne, and travels to Italy to unravel the mystery of her past. The film is one that somehow creeps me out, even without the scare tactics. It’s the kind of movie that crawls under your skin. For many I’m sure the parallel-world story would be hard to grasp, but trust me, it’s a movie well worth your time. The Good
