The Trailer

The Review

Daybreakers promises of originality and it delivered.

Firstly there’s nothing ground-breaking here in this Vampire genre movie, these blood-sucking creatures still am afraid of the sun and garlic, the graphics is so-so, but there’s creativity in the story.

Not wanting to spoil the surprise, rather than focusing on the obvious, the writers added couple of new Vampire twists in the movie, for which I didn’t see it coming.

An enjoyable flick to watch, but somewhat depressing. I just wish they would give more focus on the characters itself. I feel so detached every time they’re on-screen.

The Good

  • Superb script
  • Strong acting performances
  • Brilliant background settings

The Bad

  • Crappy soundtrack
  • Cardboard characters
  • The movie atmosphere reminds me too much of Gattaca, Ethan Hawke was in it too!
