The Trailer

The Review

Chow Yun Fat playing Confucius was fantastic in this movie, but being nearly two hours long, there were some repetative boring scenes.

The plot could be better, as it strayed into confusion latter in the film, and the meaningless sub-plots didn’t helped either.

Don’t get me started on the CGI, they could have done better. It is as if some amateur CGI intern was on the job.

I noticed Confucius the movie was better in the first half of the screening, the second half was just a drag.

The Good

  • Excellent acting by Chow Yun Fat

The Bad

  • Annoying characters
  • Too much sentimentality
