<description>I was the Production Designer on The Blue Mansion. First on board and responsible for the LOOK, (sets, palette, designed and bespoke furniture and lighting), and shooting style that Glen and myself developed from day 1. I called it Nouveau Noir. The amount of research I covered in a short space of time was immense. To translate this research into something physical and Beautiful was a huge undertaking and I did it in 4 weeks. Behind the scenes are hundreds of photographs I took and set models, not to mention all my sketches and storyboards that Glen and Larry used to plot the scenes and camera angles. So often the role of Production Designer is overlooked, and sometimes too much of what WE put on the screen gets attributed to the Lighting Cameraman, but what stings most about your review is that I am not mentioned at all. Not in the Crew Listings and not in your Tags section. I am sure this is an oversight. If you can spare 90 seconds to log into http//vimeo.com/7531569 you will get a behind the scenes look at my preparation of the film. Alternatively please go to
www.imdb.com/name/nm0047552
