Synopsis

Set in Paris 1913, Coco Chanel (Anna Mouglalis) is infatuated with the affection from Boy Capel (Anatole Taubman), a rich and handsome guy. However, she is also compelled by her work in The Rite of Spring by Igor Stravinsky (Mads Mikkelsen), whereby Igor wants to redefine the musical taste while Coco wants to democratise women’s fashion. The movie then fast forward to 1920 where Coco is now rich while Igor becomes bankrupt because of the Russian Revolution. Coco invites Igor and his family to stay with her at a newly build villa, Bel Respiro.

This movie is just not my cup of tea, it was a yawner for me.

Yes it does has drama, and romance, but a film about a legendary fashion icon just doesn’t interest me.

Watching it does however gave me insight to Coco Chanel, and I might say she’s rather kinky, and odd too with her fascination with black/white colors.

It’s your call if you wish to watch this, but I myself wouldn’t want to watch it again.
