The Review
This is a movie not for everyone, either you love it or hate it.
It’s like abstract art, some get it, and some don’t. Get my drift?
A romantic film that’s not of your usual run-of-the-mill classic love story, but one with a tragic end.
The adaptation screenplay has excellent tempo, but overall it can be boring with scenes after scenes of ‘talk’ and no action.
A beautiful intricate story of two crossed-lovers, but arguably difficult to understand with the use of English old-school descriptive language.
If you want a challenge on brushing up your English and have time to spare, then watch this.
The Good
- Excellent breathtaking poetry
- The English costumes were brilliantly made
The Bad
- A depressing movie
- A very slow paced film
