The TrailerThe ReviewBodyguards And Assassins is a well made action movie that complements its historical drama. Yes the plot might seem a little far-fetched, but it’s believable enough for me to be entertained. Basically Dr Sun Yat-sen plans a visit to Hong Kong, but the historic meeting to the British colony has its dangers, as the Qing imperial dynasty send an army of assassins deployed from the imperial palace. It’s up to the local revolutionaries to foil the assassination. The heroes in this movie have differing distinct personalities for which you’ll find endearing. Be prepared as the first half of the movie lacks action, but not to fret, as the film is trying to establish the various characters and historical backdrop. You’ll then be rewarded with an awesome array of fighting direction and camera work for the last hour. The Good
