The Trailer

The Review

This is a story about conscience and how one deals with such issue that’s close to heart for many people.

I was pleasantly surprised Mark Lee shed his usual ‘Ah Beng’ stereotype’ image for another.

With the new look, there was a lack of Mark’s trademark physical comedic presence as he was trying to conform to his new character. So that’s a shame.

I feel there could be a compromise between talent and plot, the storyline needed an infuse of more laughter and light-hearted moments as it was a tad bit depressing and boring.

I managed to sit through the film of course, but not without a few yawn and unsettling changes of my seat position.

The Good

  • Yeo Yann Yann acting was excellent
  • Believable chemistry between the two leads

The Bad

  • Plot could be better
  • Bad intrepertation of social norms
