The Trailer
The Review
This is basically a kids movie, and not one for the adult audience.
Bring your kids and they would surely love this movie, being Alvin, Simon, and Theodore stayed true to their original cartoon characters which is being cute, entertaining, and fun.
Of course it’s no masterpiece, but it’s not actually a bad movie either.
I honestly had a few laughs at the slapstick, and the plot was simple yet coherent.
The moral of the film was clear even the kids would be aware of lessons being preached on-screen about being selfless and considerate of others.
Not the most the most intellectual film of the year, but its CGI ain’t that bad.
The Good
- Decent animation
- Better than the first movie
- A must see if you are a fan of the chipmunks
The Bad
- Humor suited for kids
- Very short screen-time of Dave
- Cardboard character development
