Synopsis

Based on characters created by Wes Craven in his 1984 sleeper horror hit, Freddy Krueger returns in “A Nightmare On Elm Street”, a contemporary re-imagining of the horror classic. A group of suburban teenagers share one common bond: they are all being stalked by Freddy Krueger, a horribly disfigured killer who hunts them in their dreams. As long as they stay awake, the can protect one another… but then they sleep, there is no escape.

Some classics are not meant for remakes, and should stay as it is.

This includes the ‘A Nightmare On Elm Street’ franchise.

Samuel Bayer’s directorial vision for the new remake was complicated and confusing.

The new Freddy Krueger although has depth in his character, for me he wasn’t as terrifying as Robert Englund.

Has Hollywood lost its spark and creativity that it now resort to remake all the classics.

It was ‘nightmare’ for me watching this.
